Summer Help Wanted

Do you love cheese and artisan foods? Have a passion for cleanliness and sanitation? Like working alone and with a group? Love menial tasks done with great care and attention, while in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Blue Ledge Farm is looking for a trustworthy, diligent and cleanly person to be an assistant cheesemaker this summer! Position runs June through August but there is potential for a longer relationship should circumstances align. This is a great opportunity to work very part time, be part of a small team, and get hands on experience in cheese manufacturing! Saturday mornings a must (3-4 hours, you can determine start time), and preferably Tuesday mornings and potentially up to one other morning of your choice. 8-10 hours a week total (more if covering for other staff people on vacations). You must be able to work on your feet for several hours and lift 25 lbs. You will be pouring curds, un-moulding and flipping cheeses and washing, washing, washing!
