Do you love goats and early mornings? We are looking for part time morning and weekend milkers! Hours are 5:30-8:30 am for morning shift and 3:30-6:30 pm afternoon shift. Starting pay $16/hour. Work independently  and perform all aspects of barn chores: set up and clean up, milking with machines, feeding and bedding animals. Cleanliness, communication, and dependability a must. Great cheese starts with great milk, so we take an abundance of care to keep our animals healthy and our milk clean. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently, to stand for three hours, and lift 50 lbs. Warning: you may become emotionally attached as goats are the sweetest animals to work with! Available shifts are: Mon, Tues, Friday, Sat & Sunday mornings and Saturday, Sunday night. You don’t need to take them all but must commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week. Start time ASAP or before August 18.

Are you passionate about cheese? Blue Ledge Farm is growing and looking to hire an assistant cheesemaker and an assistant in sales. Starting pay $16/hour. Approx 18 hours a week each position, you can apply for one or both positions. Start date: August 16.

·The assistant cheesemaker position entails working independently and with others on all aspects of physical manufacturing: pouring curds, flipping cheese, washing moulds, washing cheese racks, cleaning vats, wrapping cheese. This is a very physical job so a good candidate would be someone who enjoys working hard and can maintain walking on cement for several hours. Cleanliness is an absolute must so experience in food service would be a plus. If the fit is right, this position could grow into cheesemaker. Days required: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, approx 18 hours per week total.

·The assistant sales position entails working with our small team to help package, label and inventory cheese, as well as fill orders, create invoices, and communicate with accounts. Great organizational and personal skills a plus for this job. Days needed: Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Approx 18 hours per week total.
